Who is responsible
The website is operated by Ian Bailey, an individual. To contact us, use the contact form.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, topic and message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider and Cloudflare process IP addresses and request data in order to deliver and protect the site.
- A single preference cookie, site_lang, remembers the language you chose. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
What we do not do
The website has no advertising and no analytics. We do not sell personal information.
Why we use it
- To answer your message (contact form, so we can respond to you).
- To keep the site running and secure (technical data).
Who processes it for us
Hosting is provided by Hetzner. Cloudflare provides DNS, delivery and security. When the paid service opens, Stripe will process payments and an email service will send account emails; this policy will name them and be updated before that happens.
How long we keep it
- Addresses from the earlier waitlist, which is now closed: until you ask us to remove them.
- Contact messages: as long as needed to answer you, then up to 12 months.
- Server logs: for a short period set by the hosting and security providers.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. If you joined the earlier waitlist you can remove your address yourself on the Remove my address page. For anything else, use the contact form. If you are in Japan, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information applies; if you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR rights apply.
The app
The Yutaka Plan app is not yet open to the public. This policy will be extended to cover accounts, payments and your plan data before it opens.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above.
